Rosie Skincare
simple skin, with a rosie glow
Rosie is a conceptual skincare brand I designed for a younger generation of women seeking that fresh, dewy, effortless glow. This project explores brand identity, packaging design, and advertising.
My goal was to create a cohesive brand experience across multiple touchpoints. The brand identity was built on simplicity, charm, and youthful energy, brought to life through a minimal color palette of blush pink and bold red that balances softness with confidence. A strong wordmark and radiant-focused tagline ground the visual direction, reinforcing Rosie’s mission: simple skin, with a rosie glow.
Highlighted Skills: Packaging Design, Visual Identity, Colour Theory and Brand Positioning
Concept: I developed a visual identity that blends clean minimalism with youthful vibrancy, appealing to a modern tween and teen audience while maintaining a sense of long-term relevance and sophistication.
Logo Design: I created a playful, lowercase wordmark in a soft sans-serif typeface. The approachable form enhances brand recognition and delivers clarity and trust in a crowded skincare market.
Colour Palette: I established a pink and red palette that feels both trendy and timeless. The colours create visual impact and shelf appeal while maintaining a fresh tone that reflects the product’s clean formulation.
Typography: I chose a soft, modern sans-serif to convey friendliness and clarity. The typography pairs clean lines with warmth, aligning with the brand’s accessible and youthful voice.
Packaging Design: I designed a modular, stackable packaging system with minimal labeling and clear messaging. The result is a photogenic, functional design that emphasizes ease of use without sacrificing visual appeal.
Advertising Design: I developed a cheeky, empowering campaign messaging that speaks to the target audience, “Sorry, can’t talk—too busy glowing.” Ads speak in a warm, sassy voice that emotionally connects with the target audience, turning everyday skincare into a moment of self-celebration.
Brand Cohesion: I ensured consistency across all touchpoints—colour, tone, typography, and packaging—to create a cohesive brand that grows with its audience and builds lasting emotional engagement.
